It’s the dozenth cartoon sampler but that dozen’t mean I can just phone it in for this one!
I meant to post this before the end of April, but I was busy with other commitments as the calender tumbled into May. But I’ll still try to do two more this month. I think two a month (or 4 every two months) works well.
Lately I’ve been pretty busy with music, I’m working on a lot of originals and I’m hoping that starting this weekend I’ll be playing a lot more Open Mics, which means I’ll hopefully have more videos on my Music page. Right now I have 4 original songs up, 3 of which are comedy and one that is a regular song. You can take a look at the linked page.
I’ve also had a lot of commitments for things that have nothing to do with music or art, mainly around writing articles and producing a radio show revolving around sport. I tend to keep my sports blog and media stuff and this page completely serperate, but maybe some day I’ll sign post where you can find everything. I don’t really merge the two worlds right now.
Obviously lot’s of people like both sport and music/art, but it feels like being a musician/artist and doing sports media work are very different areas at times that don’t really crossover. While people’s interests blend between both topics, often the process of doing them leaves people to think you should do one or the other. On my sports blog I tend to just write about Irish women’s football and rugby, and I do a bit of commentary on games and podcast and radio work. It’s nothing too major or big time but it’s fun. I don’t tend to share or speak about my art or music on my sports page, or my sports stuff here, but as I’m writing it would make sense to maybe put a link on each page as to where you can find the other.
I was actually putting together a section where I share work from my friends and other artists/musicians I know. I’d like to get that up soon since I would like to promote their work too.
Anyway, I eventually got this sampler put together. We have a crisis, therapy, honesty, and a heroes journey.

That is a pretty bad zit.

Glad everyone is on the same page.

The hero’s journey can wait, coffee first.

Therapy is hard sometimes.
